Expertly handcrafted to replicate the natural grain, texture and appearance of solid timber, these innovative beams allow you to achieve the warmth and charm of a classic inglenook fireplace while complying with current Building Regulations and appliance manufacturers' clearance requirements.

Suitable for wood-burning stoves, multi-fuel stoves, gas fires and electric fires, our non-combustible beams can be positioned much closer to the heat source than a conventional timber beam, making them the ideal choice where design flexibility, authenticity and safety are equally important.

What is a non-combustible beam?

It is a fireplace beam cast from modern non-combustible materials to look like solid oak, right down to the grain and texture. Because it will not burn, it can sit much closer to a stove or fire than a timber beam while still meeting Building Regulations and the appliance manufacturer's clearances.

Which non-combustible beams do you offer?

Our range includes the Telford, Widecombe, Clovelly and Bideford beams, in light or dark oak finishes and a choice of standard and bespoke sizes, alongside our cast Inglebeam. Each suits a different look, from smooth and contemporary to deeply rustic.
