A stove that suits the room, not just the brochure
A wood burner should match the size of the room, the way you use it and the look you are after. Too big and you end up with the door open and the fire damped down; too small and it never quite warms the space. Chris measures up on the survey and recommends an output that actually fits, then shows you stoves to match.
Carl handles the fit from there: hearth, recess or chamber, the flue or liner, the stove itself and the finishing. It is done cleanly, tested and left ready to use, with the room put back the way it should be.

Common questions
Wood burning stoves, answered plainly
Do I need a chimney to have a wood burning stove?
No. If you have a sound chimney we line it; if you do not, we fit a twin-wall flue system up through the roof or out and up an external wall. Chris checks this on the home survey so there are no surprises.
Wood burning or multi-fuel, which is better?
A multi-fuel stove can burn smokeless fuel as well as wood, which some homes prefer. A dedicated wood burner often gives a cleaner burn for logs. We talk it through against how you plan to use the room.
How much does a wood burning stove cost to install?
It depends on the stove, the flue or liner needed and the hearth and surround work. After the survey you get a single written quote covering the stove and the full fit, with no hidden extras.
Is the installation certified?
Yes. Carl is HETAS registered, so the work is signed off and notified to building control for you, and you receive the certificate for your records.
