Flues & chimney liners
Flues and chimney liners, done right
The flue is what makes a stove safe and easy to live with. Whether you have a chimney to line or need a twin-wall flue fitting from scratch, we get the draw right so the fire lights easily and burns clean.
Two routes, one result
Whether or not you have a chimney
If you have a chimney, we usually line it. A flexible stainless liner gives the stove a sealed, correctly sized route, improves the draw and keeps the chimney sound. If the chimney is in poor shape, Chris will tell you straight on the survey.
If you have no chimney, we fit a twin-wall insulated flue instead, routed internally through the roof or up an external wall. Either way the aim is the same: a clean draw, a fire that lights easily and a finish that looks tidy inside and out.

Common questions
Flues and liners, answered plainly
Do I need a chimney liner for a wood burning stove?
In most homes with an existing chimney, yes. A flexible liner gives the stove a correctly sized, sealed route for the smoke, improves the draw and keeps the chimney safe. Chris confirms what your chimney needs on the survey.
What if I have no chimney at all?
Then we fit a twin-wall insulated flue. It runs either internally up through the ceilings and roof, or up an external wall and above the roofline, sized and routed so the stove draws properly.
What is twin-wall flue?
Twin-wall is insulated flue pipe made for homes without a masonry chimney. The insulation keeps the gases warm so they rise and draw cleanly, and it stays cool enough on the outside to pass safely through a building.
