Border slips are an ideal solution when installing a fireplace within a narrower chimney breast, allowing the chamber opening to be reduced without compromising the overall proportions of the surround. In addition to providing a neat, seamless transition between the chamber and the fireplace opening, the contrasting granite creates a beautifully framed aperture that naturally draws the eye towards the stove and the relaxing flames within, adding both visual depth and a striking finishing detail.
