The Welbourne Oak Fireplace Surround

The Welbourne is particularly well suited to stove installations where the natural oak surround is paired with granite or stone hearths and brick or stone-lined chambers.

Its classic proportions suit both period properties and modern homes, creating a warm timber frame around a wood-burning or multifuel stove without making the fireplace feel heavy.

The fireplace shown can be supplied as a complete package including the Welbourne fireplace in waxed oak, a Stovax Huntingdon 30 cast iron 5kW wood-burning stove, vitreous enamel flue pipe, chimney closure plate and flue liner adaptor, Antique Leather black granite hearth and chamber base, matching border slips with finished polished edges, Glasroc paintable chamber lining, up to 10 metres of 316-grade flexible stainless steel chimney liner, and a rain cap and bird guard chimney cowl.

The surround can also be supplied unwaxed, allowing you to apply your own wax or stain finish to complement your interior decor and preferred colour scheme.
