What's included in the fit
Every Carl Finnell installation is carried out by a HETAS-registered fitter and agreed on your home survey. A typical fit includes:
- The stove, supplied and sized to your room
- Flue or chimney liner, lined chimney or twin-wall flue
- Hearth and chamber work, finished to suit the room
- Register plate and the right cowl or terminal
- Testing, commissioning and first burn
- HETAS certificate, notified to Building Control

Installation notes for the Heta Ambition 8 Wood Burning Stove
Like all HETA Ambition models, the Ambition 8 is also available with an optional direct combustion air connection at the rear of the appliance. This allows clean, preheated external air to be supplied directly into the stove, helping to improve combustion efficiency while reducing the amount of warm air drawn from the room. The result is cleaner, more efficient operation that is better for the environment and can help reduce running costs.
Please note: A direct external air supply or permanently ventilated room vent may be required to comply with current Building Regulations, particularly in newer or highly insulated homes and extensions built after 2008 and must be installed with any appliance over 5kw nominal output.
